Obituary of Patricia Barkley

Patricia "Pat" Barkley, 67, of The Villages passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in Luraville, Florida. Born on October 14, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN daughter to the late George and Laura Jean (Saucier) Larsen, she lived most of her life in Florida, moved to The Villages in 2002. She was a retired Sergeant with the Dade County Corrections Dept. Pat was a member and sang with the choir at St. Marks Catholic Church. She was scuba diving certified and enjoyed playing tennis. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn G. Barkley, Sr. in 2000. Pat is survived by her daughter Shannon Barkley, Summerfield, sister-in-law Lucinda Snow, Cleveland, OH. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 1:00PM to 1:30PM at which time the funeral service will be held in the chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL.
