Obituary of Oscar Olin
THE VILLAGES — Oscar E. Olin, 89, died Sunday, July 11, 2010.
Mr. Olin was born in New York, N.Y. He was a retired general contractor; a Catholic by faith; member and commander of U.S. Power Squadron; Moose Lodge; an Army Air Force veteran of World War II; and his hobbies were golf, boating and dancing.
Survivors include his sons, Stephen O., Asheville, N.C., Robert C., Apopka; daughter, Janet Schultz, Zirconia, N.C.; companion, Mary Tournay, The Villages; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, with Pastor David McGrath officiating.
