Eileen was such a beautiful and caring lady. I have great memories of she and her family growing up as a child in Hillsmere. Parties, boating, crabs and the Elks. She was such a good friend to my mother, Bonnie. She went out of her way many times, as a friend, to help my mother and for that I thank her.

Some of my fondest memories as a child were at Aunt Eileen and Uncle Ed's house at Hillsmere Shores. Long gone now, there used to be a forest of trees surrounding the Talbot family home. Eddie, Jr., my sister, Kathy, and I would play for hours in the forest, swinging from monkey vines and picking wild berries. It was such great fun. I had the good fortune of visiting Ed & Eileen a few years ago for two days. It was lovely sitting on their porch and revisiting many fond memories of family and the fun times we had throughout our lives. Although my family has lived in Phoenix, AZ since 1957, the families have always remained in close touch. I will sincerely miss my conversations with Eileen as she was my last living link to my mom who passed away in 1984. She had a great wit and also told it like it was. May the Good Lord bring every family member peace and acceptance that Eileen is in a far better place and free of pain and suffering. I hope you will be able to take comfort in a lifetime of fond and happy memories and wonderful pictures. As I write, I can see Eileen, my mom, dad, Bobby, Harold, and Mary laughing and enjoying a great game of penny-anti poker - nickel limit! .....and Grandma is cooking - yum! :>)
Eilleen will truly be missed!

May God comfort and support each of you. My heart and prayer go out to you, Mr. Talbot, to have lost your soul mate of six decades. The death of a beloved family member is one of life's most difficult experiences. This is a sorrow that Jehovah God Himself will one day remove- (Revelation 21:3-5). He has promised through His son, Jesus, that 'all those in his memory will be resurrected to life again' (John 5:25, 26, 28, and 29; John 11:24, 25). Then, afterwards, 'death, sickness, old age and wickedness will be defeated, removed' from earth- forever (Isaiah 25:8; Isaiah 33:24; Job 33:25; Psalms 37:9-11, 29)! May these promises give you real hope and help you to cope (Romans 15:4). You have my deepest sympathy.

When I think of the mentors and teachers I had in my life, tops on my list is Aunt Eileen and Uncle Ed. Eileen taught me when it was appropriate to enter conversations with adults when I was younger. As it turns out I was able to manage being a youngster better around adults than the way I wanted to do. Growing into adulthood she and Ed taught me about saving and investing. I've done pretty well by their advice.
Aunt Eileen always offered a smile and pleasantries when ever I saw her. She was a great source of family history and linage. Whenever she shared her thoughts on anything she was never imposing but you did understand her point of view when she was done. For me, she was missed from the time she moved from Annapolis, only letters, phone calls, and cards from then on. I'll always remember meeting her and ED at the Elks Club or at dads house. They were always glad to see me.
I 'm sure she is catching up with her siblings now. She was the last of her family and will be sorely missed by all.
