Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Arthur

Ocala - Jean Elizabeth Arthur, 76, died peacefully in her sleep at her residence on July 22, 2010. She was born in New York and moved to this area in 1954. She was a retired manager of Denim Den and had worked for the Marion Theater and Fremac's in Ocala for many years. She enjoyed taking care of family and friends. She is survived by her sisters, Joyce (Reneau) Russell of Ocala, Joan (Bruce) Coleman of Brandon, MS and June (James) Self of Ocala, her brothers, James (Deanna) Arthur of Blairsville, GA and Jerry (Connie) Arthur of Ocala, her ten nieces and nephews, fifteen great nieces and nephews and her one great great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Raymond and Helen Marie Arthur and her brother, John Arthur. Funeral services will held on Sunday. July 25, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-3 PM. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
