Obituary of Cameron Lee Cathcart

Cathcart, Cameron Lee, Ocala, 46, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Ocala. He was born on August 5, 1963 in Charlotte, N.C.; the second born son to Benny Ray and Mary Jane (Williams) Cathcart. The family moved to Florida in 1965 and settled in Ocala in 1972. Cameron was a Telecommunications Technician for over 25 years. He worked with sub-contractors to the telephone company and at one time owned his own company. He was a member of Ft. King Presbyterian Church, Ocala. His love in life was his work and being with and caring for his family and friends in need. He was preceded in death by his father and later his step-father Hassel Conrad High. He leaves to cherish his memory: his Beloved and Loving Mother, Mary Jane Cathcart High, Ocala, his brother Michael Ashley Cathcart of Philadelphia, TN and many special and longtime devoted friends in Florida and cousins in TN. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala from 10:30 AM to 11:00AM, at which time a Funeral Service will be held with The Rev. Jim Bullock officiating, a eulogy by Lynn Skipper and music provided by Tavie Altman. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala.
