Obituary of Tilford Day

Ted (Tilford) Day, 86, went to be with the LORD on August 3, 2010. He was born on May 8, 1924 in Bell County, KY and moved to Anthony, FL in 1993 from Warren, MI. He was a retired businessman. He was a faithful member of Anthony First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and playing golf. His favorite hobby was working. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Jean, daughters Patsy Runion, Michigan, Tresa (Russell) Gordon, Michigan, son Jim (Bobbie) Day, Michigan, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was loved by many and touched the lives of everyone that knew him. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 1:00pm at Anthony First Baptist Church, 2551 NE 98th Street. A luncheon will follow the memorial service.
