Darrell and Linda, I only remember Scott as a small child when I was on the speech team at Fox. I was so sorry to learn of his passing. I will be praying for your strength and peace. Would like to speak to you again.

To Linda and Darrell: Merla and I will always miss your son Scott. He was a loyal friend, always willing to inconvenience himself to help others. Scott possessed an intelligent sense of humor. This, coupled with his keen observational abilities, added up to hours of standup comedy routines as Scott vented his frustrations about the crazy world and its inhabitants. We shared so many laughs together since that day more than 10 years ago when he first walked into my photo store. I wanted to tell some very funny stories at the funeral, but unfortunately shied away. Although Merla and I are parents, we can still only imagine what you are going through. You are in our prayers often. It has been tough for me just going through his photo equipment. I saw him work with a lot of this equipment, and each piece triggers a memory, and I smile in my head. But then comes an aching sadness when I realize I will never be able to laugh with Scott again, to watch that slow, smooth smile come to his face when he heard something funny. I hope that we can get together next time you are in the Clearwater area. And please feel free to call any time, day or night.

I cannot imagine how you must be feeling Mr and Mrs. Langley, but I hope you are able to enjoy the memories that you all shared. Scott was such a character in school and we worked together at Silver Dollar City while we were in college and his off kilter sense of humor used to get me through some long hot days, I haven't seen Scott in 18 years but I have thought about him often over those years and even looked for him repeatedly on facebook to no avail. I will always remember Scott fondly .

Scott was the love of my life and I feel so luckey that he came in to my life. We both felt like we had found our soul mate. He was a loving and caring man and was a wonderful father to my girls. We shared so many special times togather. One of the things I will always cherish is the day before he passed when scott the girls and I all went to the beach and he just sat there next to me and held me and told me how much he loved me and we just watched the girls playing in the water and he just seemed so proud. Scott I will deeply miss you and you wil forever hold a special place in my heart. I Love You.

I have only worked with Scott for about a year at Solid Waste, but he was helpful and patient during my training. We had some great conversations about our 4/legged families at home (dogs and cats). He will definitely be missed by his work family. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Scott was my best friend for 10 years, I am saddened that he did not come to me and talk. I will always remember him as a good friend, a good person, we met in the summer of 2000, via my brother, who knew him a bit longer than me, we hit it off immediately and had a lasting friendship for 10 years. We shared similar interests, movies, music, we'd frequently go to eat out, I've spent a number of times at his house just hanging out, playing stratego, video games, watching movies listening to music, eating and sharing good times. I will forever miss my best friend.

When I first started working here, Scott was one of the first people with whom I worked. He taught me the ropes. I was always very impressed with Scott's desire to continue to learn and do things more efficiently. He was creative and developed better ways to perform his work. He taught me a lot about photography which he loved. Scott had a great dry sense of humor. He could always be counted on to make a crack that would have everybody laughing at just the right time. Scott was always courteous towards everyone and made many good freiends in his family here at work.
I will very much miss Scott as a friend and co-worker. The place will not be the same without him. My prayers and condolences go to his parents and Crystal. I know how much he loved you. I am comforted by the knowledge that Scott is now in a better place.
