Obituary of Colin Kevin Scott

Colin Kevin Scott, age 52, of Weirsdale, Fl passed away August 12, 2010 in Leesburg, Florida. He was born in Tampa, and moved to Weirsdale, 42 years ago. Colin was a press operator for 23 years with Metals USA, in Leesburg. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Leesburg. His hobbies included fishing, boating, outdoors, photography and he had his private pilot's license. Survivors include his mother Lillian Margarette Scott, Weirsdale, Fl; two brothers, Sherwin Scott (wife Deborah), Weirsdale, Fl and Marshall Scott (wife Courtney), Charlotte, NC; three step-sons John Hiles and Mike Hiles of Hudson, FL, and Scott Hiles, Ocala, Fl. He was preceded in death by his father Barnard G. Scott. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of The Villages, with Rev. Mike McCann officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be prior to service from 12:30-2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Weirsdale.
