Obituary of Bruce D. Pritz

Bruce D. Pritz, age 84, of Ocala, FL passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2010. He was born in New Haven, CT on September 27, 1925. Mr. Pritz served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He worked as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service in Miami, FL for 30 years. He moved to Ocala from Miami in 1981. His hobbies included stamp collecting and fishing. As an Elder of his church, Bruce also enjoyed visiting fellow church members that were ill or at home. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Prudence Pritz and daughter Sharon (Rene') Tieche of St. Augustine, FL. A memorial/praise service will be held at Fort King Presbyterian Church, 13 NE 36th Ave, Ocala, FL 34470 on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 3:00pm with Rev. Andy Gans officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fort King Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Marion Co., PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478.
