Thomas R. Dahill, Jr.
Summerfield - Thomas R. Dahill Jr., 82, passed away suddenly Monday, August 23, 2010.
Mr. Dahill was born in New York City and resided many years in Danbury, Connecticut, Phoenix, Arizona; and Columbus, Ohio.
He was a retired dispatcher for the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad in New York and Connecticut; United States Army Korean War veteran, member of the American Legion Post 347; lifetime member of the N.R.A. an avid collector of guns, trains, coins, and cars.
Mr. Dahill was born in New York City and resided many years in Danbury, Connecticut; Phoenix, Arizona; and Columbus, Ohio.
Thomas made his home with his only sister, Marianne E. Dahill and is also survived by three sons Matthew (wife Janet) Cincinnati, Ohio; Dennis R., Orlando, Florida; Peter T., Columbus, Ohio; three grandsons, Paul T., Jason M., both of Cincinnati, Ohio; Michael, Columbus, Ohio; three granddaughters, Kerry (Duncan ) Prather, Cleves, Ohio; Shannon (Jack) Ray; Erin Dahill, both of Columbus, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Jessica Prather, Jordan Prather both of Cleves, Ohio; Natalie Ray, Jackson Thomas Ray, and Ethan Riley Dahill of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law Gloria Dahill and niece Michelle Dahill both of Danbury, Connecticut; niece and God-daughter Stacey (Michael) Connors and her children Austin and Ashley Connors, all of Bethel, Connecticut; many cousins in New York and Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas R. and Beatrice Stein Dahill, a younger brother Robert A. Dahill.
