Obituary of Alexander A. Durante

DURANTE, ALEXANDER A., 81 Ocklawaha - Alexander A. Durante, 81, died at Ocala Regional Medical Center on August 31, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to this area from New York in 1983. He was of Catholic faith and was a member of Moose Lodge #112 since 1985. He retired from the Sanitation Department in New York. Mr. Durante was a veteran of Korea serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Madeline Durante, Ocklawaha; son, Joe Durante, Ocklawaha; daughter, Patricia A. Durante, Ocklawaha and 2 grandchildren. he was preceded in death by his daughter, Camille Durante. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2010 and Friday, September 3, 2010 with Military Honors Friday at 6 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview.
