Obituary of Kenneth Smith

Kenneth Dale Smith, 83, passed away on September 1, 2010 at TimberRidge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Ocala. Mr. Smith was born in Cass, WV. He was a restaurant owner and a veteran serving during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Angela Santos VFW Post 4781. Mr. Smith moved from Decatur, IL to Ocala in 1988. Mr. Smith leaves behind his daughter, Pamela C. Sleeman, of Ocala and one granddaughter. He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah Smith, in 2004. Service will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala with the Rev. Dr. Jack Reents officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
