Obituary of John G. Armacost

John G. Armacost, 73 of Fanning Springs, passed away Sept. 7, 2010 at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties in Chiefland. Born in Flint, MI he moved to this area in 2001 from Pinellas County after living in California. He served in the US National Guards. He was a member of Fanning Springs Community Church, the Moose Lodge, American Vets and the American Legion. He was a maintenance electrician. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was most proud of his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Armacost of Fanning Springs, daughters Deborah Klier of CA, Delores Wells of TX, and Carol Furtado of CA, son John Allen Armacost of GA, 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Divine. Memorial services will be Sat., Sept 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Fanning Springs Community Church in Fanning Springs with Pastor David Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Armacost memory to the Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties, 311 NE 9th Street, Chiefland, FL 32626.
