Obituary of Elaine Clark

THE VILLAGES — Elaine Clark, 77, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010. Mrs. Clark was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and moved to The Villages from Plantation in 2000. She was a homemaker; associate member of Hope Lutheran Church, The Villages; member of the Tri-County Ohio State University Alumni; Villages Crafters; Stitchery Club; Smart Car Club; a creative artist; and enjoyed painting. Survivors include her husband, John; daughters Elizabeth Adams, Powell, Ohio, Carolyn Cummings, Hilliard, Ohio; sister, Betsey Cromer, Lady Lake; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., prior to service. Services and inurnment will follow Friday, Sept. 17, in Columbus, Ohio.
