Obituary of Bernard Robert Garemore

Bernard Robert "Bernie" Garemore, age 67, of Sparr, FL passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010. He was born in Trenton, NJ on August 4, 1943. He was raised in Trenton and joined the US Navy at the age of 20. He served during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Sproston for three years. Bernie was a Bronze Star recipient. After his military service he moved back to New Jersey until moving to Florida. Bernie was a retired Plumber. He loved to restore old boats and motorcycles. Someone else's junk was Bernie's treasure. He also liked to fish. Bernie's family considered him to be happy go lucky and a lover of the simple things in life. Survivors include a daughter Angela (John) Korchinsky of Delray, FL; daughter Jennifer O'Brien Garemore of Amenia, NY; brother Jim (Chris) Garemore of Ocala, FL; nieces Anna and Kimberly; nephews Richard and Jimmy; grandchildren Nicole, Quinlan and Kasey. A memorial service with military honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 10:30am.
