Obituary of Doris Laverne Burleson

BURLESON, DORIS L., 76 Weirsdale - Doris L. Burleson, 76, died at her residence September 13, 2010. She was born in Blytheville, Arkansas and moved to this area in 1970. She was of Baptist faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed holidays, and liked to quilt, sew, crochet and cook. Mrs. Burleson is survived by her sons, Bobby, Summerfield, Jobe, Weirsdale, Benny and Bryan, both of Belleview, Jeff, Cooter, MO; daughter, Tanya Eason, E. Lake Weir, FL; 1 brother and 3 sisters; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Bobby G. Burleson. Funeral services will be held at 9 AM, Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery, Weirsdale. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Marion County.
