As part of Esther's online friednship group I always enjoyed Esther's updates because no matter what was going on she always had an amazing attitude, a remarkable sense of humor and was always able to find the sunny side. She was a wonderful addition to our group and will be so missed...SWe will really miss her. Eshter;s family is in my prayers.

Esther "my buhd" Pilo became very dear to me after meeting her online. I walked her though the computer and she never gave up. When I moved to Florida she came to see me and I went to see her, as did several of our Florida group. A kind and gentle spirit and always the hostess with the mostest". One never left her home in the Villages without asking for a recipe or two or three.
She will definitely be missed; a light gone out of our lives. Prayers go out to her dear family (whom she did brag about often).

We loved Esther's contribution to our online Friends/Travel group. We met her twice - once when we all gathered at a bed and breakfast in the middle of Florida, and at another gathering at Ormond Beach, Florida. She was a beautiful, vibrant, witty and caring lady, as we're sure her friends and neighbors at the Villages and "up north" can also attest. She loved entertaining and being entertained, and shared her cuisine tips and recipes with abandon. Yes, she told us, very matter-of-factly, that she was ill and that it was most likely terminal, but we thought it would be in the very distant future. Now that she is gone, it seems unbelievable that we'll no longer be receiving her informative and funny emails. We wish you Godspeed, Esther.......May her memory be eternal.
