Obituary of Norma McNeal

McNEAL, NORMA ROBBINS Ocala - Norma Robbins McNeal, 86, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010 at Estelle's Hospice House. She was born Sept. 20, 1923 in Chiefland, the youngest child of A.L. and Hattye Walker Robbins, she moved to Ocala in 1933. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala since 1937 and graduated from Ocala High School in 1942. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Norton B. McNeal of Ocala, her brother, Earl M. Robbins of Ocala, her niece, Janice Owen of Ocala, her nephew, Larry Kerr of Murphy, NC and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, A. L. Robbins and mother, Hattye Danforth, step-father, L.A. Danforth and her sister, Mary Louise Kerr. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala with Dr. Edward D. Johnson officiating. Visitation will be at 10 AM. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
