Obituary of Gladys Mae Hatcher

Hatcher, Gladys, 83, of Dunedin, died Monday (September 20, 2010) at Manor Care of Dunedin. Gladys was born in Bell, FL and moved to Dunedin in 2005 from Ocala. She was a homemaker and the Secretary/Bookkeeper for 40 plus years with Cement Finishing Corporation, a business she owned with her late husband, Bud. She enjoyed cooking and being with family and friends, especially her great grandchildren. She was a member of The Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Harold (Cheryl) of Ozona, FL and Tom (Patrice) of Plymouth, MA; a brother, Amos Philman of Bell, FL; a sister, Clara Hatcher of Clearwater, FL; two grandchildren, Jason and Ashleigh; two great grandchildren, Addison and Hayden; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at 12 Noon at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd. , Ocala. Visitation from 11 AM t0 12 noon. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
