Obituary of Arthur Bernard Tucker

TUCKER, ARTHUR BERNARD Ocala - Arthur Bernard Tucker, 73, passed away on Sept. 22, 2010. He was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and moved to Ocala in 1965. He was a retired Postmaster for the US Post Office and served his country in the US Marine Corps during Korea. He was Baptist, a member of the Ocala Elks Lodge, VFW Post No. 8083, National League of Postmasters and Association of Postmasters USA. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dottie Rivers Tucker of Ocala, his son, Arthur Edward Tucker and wife Cindy of Jacksonville, his sisters, Michelle Williams of Charlotte and Rebecca Nelson of Whiteville, NC and his brothers, Lewis F. and Michael L. Tucker, Both of Charlotte. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angels Home Health Care or Hospice of Marion County.
