Obituary of Bernice B. Rou

ROU, Bernice B. Mrs. Bernice B. Rou, 88, of Ocala, died Friday, October 1, 2010, at her home. A native of Brunswick County, NC, she moved to the Ocala area in 1945, coming here from NC. Mrs. Rou worked for many years as a nurse, both private duty nursing and in the office of Dr. David Sneed. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her son Sam Rou, Ocala, daughter Sandra Morrow and her husband Fred of Kissimmee, her brother Billy C. Blanton and his wife Mary of Rock Hill, SC, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Rou. Graveside services will be held at 4 PM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Millwood Cemetery in Reddick with Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 Friday evening at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
