Obituary of Gearld W. Whitley

Gearld Wayne Whitley, 64 of Bell, passed away Oct. 2, 2010 at Shands at Lake Shore in Lake City, FL. He was born in Tifton, GA on Feb. 1, 1946. He worked in Drywall and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his mother, Mary Gay Flippo Whitley of Ty Ty, GA, daughters Joan Renee Whitley Godwin of Palm Harbor, FL, Angela Jill Whitley Scott of Trenton, Joy Michelle Meeks of Chiefland, son Johnathan Wayne Whitley of Bell, sisters Wanda Edenfield of Tifton, GA and Donna Robbins of Dallas, TX, 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Junior Whitley. Memorial Services will be Sat., Oct 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Ty Ty, GA.
