Obituary of Geraldine Ellen Mitchell

Geraldine E. Mitchell THE VILLAGES--Geraldine E. Mitchell, 75, died Sunday October 3, 2010. Mrs. Mitchell was born in New Castle, PA and moved to The Villages from New Castle in 2000. She was retired from the IRS, of the Presbyterian faith, past President of The Village of Belle Aire & Social Club, and enjoyed Golf, Bunko, Bocce, Bowling, and was a Cheerleader for the Belle Aire Softball Team. She was pre-deceased by her son Scott Mitchell, and brothers Frank Calvert and Don Calvert. Survivors include her husband, Dickson Mitchell, of The Villages, FL; their daughter Laura Sciortino of Coral Springs, FL; brothers Bert Calvert of Akron, OH and Howard Calvert of Tucson, AZ; a sister Bertha Ryan of Pittsburgh, PA, and two grandchildren Skott and Michael Bechara. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of The Villages, FL, with a visitation 1 hour prior.
