Obituary of Victor Brooks

Brooks, Victor, 91 Summerfield- Victor Brooks passed away on October 6, 2010. Born in Brockton, Massachusetts April 17, 1919, Victor was a successful business owner in Massachusetts for many years. Victor is survived by his son, Kevin Brooks, his stepsons Steven and Thomas Head, granddaughter Aubriella Brooks,, brother Joseph (Jack) Pocius, daughters in law Margaret and Jessica Head and Kathy Brooks, sister in law Ginny Pocius, nieces Deborah and Linda Pocius, nephews Wayne Pocius, James, John and Peter Ewas, Sophie and Sadie his adored poodles and many good friends. Victor was preceded in death by his beloved, Marilyn Head, his sons Victor (Wayne) and Malcolm (Mac) Brooks, his sister Mary Ewas and parents Brontis and Mary Brooks Pocius. Victor served in the United States Coast Guard-Merchant Marines, was a member of the Belleview Moose Lodge, the Lake Weir Yacht Club and several bowling leagues. Victor enjoyed cooking, spending time at his second home in Tennessee and had a great sense of humor. He lived an extraordinary life; no one who knew him will ever forget him. A memorial will be held October 16, 2010 at 11am at Hiers Baxley 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd. The Villages, Florida 32159. In lieu of flowers, those who wish can donate to the American Cancer Society.
