Obituary of Richard Henry Buerkle

THE VILLAGES — Richard Henry Buerkle, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010. Mr. Buerkle was born in Queens, N.Y., and moved to The Villages from Levittown, N.Y., more than eight years ago. He was a Protestant; a retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier; and an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Sheila R.; son, Richard J., Levittown, N.Y.; daughter, Diane Frauenthal, Levittown, N.Y.; brothers, George, Wantagh, N.Y., and Gary, Shirley, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
