Obituary of Gerald Thomas Penix

Penix, Jr., Gerald Thomas "G.T." Ocala - Gerald Thomas "G.T." Penix, Jr. died on October 19, 2010 in Ocala, FL. He was born November 10, 1960 in Newark, OH to Gerald T. Penix, Sr. and Louanne Jones Penix. He lived most of his lifetime in Ocala and worked as an auto mechanic with the Marion County Sheriff's Dept. for nine years. He loved his family and grandchildren and the sport of drag racing. Gerald is survived by his wife, Velda Penix of Ocala; sons Gerald Thomas (Buster) Penix, III and wife Suhaily of Ocala and Nathan Penix of Ocala; daughter Kristi Penix also of Ocala; and granddaughters Ayramalys, Ayralis and Alana. A visitation will be held October 23, 2010 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470.
