Obituary of Ely Richard Luke

Ely "Buddy" Richard Luke, 77 of O'Brien FL passed away at his home on Oct. 20, 2010. He was born in Chiefland FL on Feb. 17, 1933. He served his country in the US Army. He was a long haul trucker and he enjoyed working in his garden, building, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Luke, step son and caregiver, Lonnie Chapman, both of O'Brien, daughter Robin Luke, sisters Mary Starr of Houston, TX, Daisy Holley of Lake Jackson, TX and Lillie Huckleberry of Houston, TX and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ely Richard and Nellie Luke and 3 brothers, David, George and Paul Luke. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, Oct 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Antioch Cemetery in Chiefland. Arrangements are under the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1301 N.
