Obituary of Francis X. Brennan

Francis X. Brennan, Jr., age 83, of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 23, 1927. He was raised in Queens, NY. He joined the US Navy at the age of 17 and served during both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He met and married Joan Bealler in 1950. Together they raised two children. Francis worked for the NYPD as a Police Officer for 20 years retiring as a Lieutenant. His hobbies included golfing, hunting and fishing. Francis was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in Ocala. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Joan Brennan of Ocala; daughter Maureen McClintock of Murphy, NC; son Francis X. Brennan, III of Ocala; grandchildren Shannon, Erin, Matthew and Courtney. A funeral mass for Francis will be celebrated on Saturday, October 30, 2010, 11:00am at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, 4047 NE 21st Street, Ocala, FL.
