Obituary of Margaret Mary Wilkerson

Margaret Mary Wilkerson, age 81, of Ocala, FL passed away on November 17, 2010. She was born in Spearfish, NE on June 27, 1929. Mrs. Wilkerson graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelors degree in Education. She worked as a High School English Teacher Huron, SD for over 18 years. She attended Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala, FL. Her hobbies included traveling and reading. Resided in Marion County for the past nine years having moved from Huron, SD. She is survived by her husband of nine years Alva L. Wilkerson, Col. USAF (Ret) of Ocala, FL; daughter Peggy Esser of Fargo, ND; daughter Jane Anne Parrish of Indianola, IA; son Pat Brosnan of Sioux Falls, SD; son Mike Brosnan of Huron, SD; son John Brosnan of Mankato, MN; sister Jane Anne Allen of University Place, WA; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am. Her remains are being sent to South Dakota for services and interment under the direction of Welter Funeral Home, Huron, SD.
