Obituary of Joseph H. McGovern

MCGOVERN, III, Joseph H. Sanford- Joseph "Joe" H. McGovern, III died November 20, 2010 as the result of an accident. Joe was born in Camden, NJ on March 19, 1953 to Joseph H. McGovern and Patricia A. McGovern. Joe was an active member of All Souls Catholic Community in Sanford. He was a Carpenter by trade and belonged to the Carpenter's Union in both the states of California and Florida. In his free time he enjoyed playing golf and being with his family. Joe was preceded in death by his mother Patricia McGovern and uncle Hugh McGovern. He is survived by his father, Joseph McGovern Jr.; brothers, Michael McGovern (K.D.) of Fairbanks, AK, Thomas McGovern (Janis) of Osteen, FL, James McGovern (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Patricia Dycus of Deltona, FL, Mary Johnson (Steve) of Osteen, FL; nephews, Chris and Jeff; nieces, Sara, Megan, Katie, Amy Rose, Beth, and Maggie; aunts, Mary and Margaret; uncles Jimmy and Bill; and several cousins. Memorial Mass at All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford, FL will be held on Saturday November 27, 2010 at 11:00am. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala.
