Brother Hoffman,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. The only thing that keeps popping into my mind is that SHE isn't the one that has to live alone. I remember when my Mother passed and Dad have to go it by himself. It was very hard on him but he was THANKFUL that HE could endure this instead of her.
God Bless You!

Dear Hal and Family,
On behalf of the Brethren of William T. Carlton Lodge let me express our condolences for the loss of your loving wife and mother. In reading the obituary in the Gilchrist County Journal, it is apparent she was indeed a remarkable woman and led a very interesting life. I know you, Hal, would mention her from time to time in conversations we had, and it was always with love and respect you talked of her.
To say that you will all miss her would be the understatement of the year. That she will live on in all you through the memories you have of her is a testament to the wonderful person she surely was. I met her one time and I cannot say that I knew her from that one introduction, but if your remarks and comments about her, Hal, are any indication, I have truly missed knowing a remarkable person.
May God help you all thru this sorrowful time. If the Lodge or I can be any service, please let us know.
In deepest sympathy,
William H. Schreiber, Worshipful Master, for the Brethren of William T. Carlton Lodge No. 46, Trenton, Florida
