Obituary of Danny Dale Delk

Ocala - Danny Dale Delk, 60, died November 30, 2010 in Ocala, FL. Danny was born November 21, 1950 in Louisville, KY. Mr. Delk had been in Ocala since 1987 and was a thoroughbred horse trainer. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by daughters, Monique Cuevas and husband Duke of Ocala and Michelle Colorio and husband Joseph of Gainesville; son, Danny Delk, Jr. and wife Sherri of Ocala; sister, Lona Vasquez and husband Germaine of Louisville, KY; brothers, Robert Mayer and Jimmy Mayer, both of Louisville; grandchildren, Brandon, Taryn, Blake, Juliana, Joseph, Justin, Cameron, Mackenzie, and Preston. Mr. Delk was preceded in death by his grandson Tyler, and sister Tina Willoughby. Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 15, at 2:00 PM at the Ocala Breeders Sales, 1701 SW 60th Ave, Ocala, FL. Those who wish may make a contribution to FTFM Scholarship Fund 6998 N.
