Obituary of Vesta C. Croy

CROY, VESTA C. Ocala - Vesta C. Croy, 96, passed away on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 in London, KY. She was born in Hartford City, IN and moved to Ocala in 1963 from Winona Lake, IN. She and her family owned and operated Croy's Carpets here in Ocala until 1996. She was a longtime active member of Ocala Baptist Temple and had taught Sunday School for 75 years. She is survived by her sons, Harry Croy of London, KY and Raymond Croy of Toccoa, GA and nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan F. Croy in 2003. Funeral services will be on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala with Pastor David Chaffin officiating. Visitation will by on Thursday from 5-7 PM. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
