Obituary of Haydee Ramos

SUMMERFIELD — Haydee Ramos, 72, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010. Ms. Ramos was born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, and moved to Summerfield from there in 1982. She was a site manager at Marion County Senior Services; and a member of I.C.D.C. Fe Y Esperanza. Survivors include her mother, Louisa Alston, Summerfield; daughters Kim Baker Haddad, Summerfield, Merry Hanley, Ocala; sisters Lydia Quinones and Elba Cruz, both of Summerfield; brothers Raymond Tirado, Ridgefield Park, N.J., Jose Tirado, Dumont, N.J.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Ramos will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, with visitation 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. Committal services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the funeral home, proceeding to the cemetery immediately following services. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
