Obituary of James F. Britt

James F. Britt, age 82, of Ocala, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. He was born in Greensburg, PA on March 26, 1928. James served with the US Marines. He was a retired Salesman for AmWeld Building Products where he worked for 37 years. James was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, FL. His hobbies included hunting and reading. He moved to Ocala, FL from Warren, OH in 1996. James is survived by his wife of 57 years Patricia Murtha Britt of Ocala, FL; daughter Pamela Pompelia of Cincinnati, OH; son Michael J. Britt of Richmond, VA; son Patrick M. Britt of Silver Spring, MD; son Christopher J. Britt of Charleston, W. VA; son Stephen D. Britt of Cleveland, OH; son James T. Britt of Cape Elizabeth, ME and 10 grandchildren. James was predeceased by his parents Michael J. and Pauline Horrell Britt. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a prayer service at 5:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW State Road 200, Ocala, FL on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 9:30am.
