Obituary of Pauline Edith Stallings

STALLINGS, Polly Mrs. Polly Stallings, 93, of Silver Springs, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Munroe Regional Medical Center. A native of Atlanta, GA, she moved to this area in 1976, coming here from West Palm Beach, FL. She was an active member of Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church where she was involved as a volunteer with the Care & Share at the church. She is survived by her three sons, Michael, of Stuart, FL, David, of Silver Springs, and Emory, of West Palm Beach, as well as 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gaston Stallings, and her son Kenneth. Funeral services for Mrs. Stallings will be held at 11 AM Monday, December 13, 2010, at Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church, with Rev. James H. Snell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until service time. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E Silver Springs Blvd., is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church Care and Share or the Alzheimer's Association.
