Obituary of Patricia Joan Godbey

Godbey, Patricia J. "Pat", 70, Silver Springs, died on Saturday, December 18, 2010. She was born in Ocala on December 22, 1939 and spent most of her life in Marion County: graduating from Ocala High School in 1957. She is best remembered for the love and care she gave to all she knew. "She was always bringing home strays - of the two and four legged variety." She was preceded in death by Lela "Granny" Lamb and granddaughter Jennifer Odom. Pat is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years: David Lee Godbey, daughter; Leslie Lamb (Emory): sons; Sidney Odom, Jr., Gregory Odom and Kenneth Odom: step-son, Richard Godbey: step-daughters; Glenna Godbey and Jennifer Gerluti: 5 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters: brothers; Kenneth Enos and Wayne Enos: sisters; Teresa Milton, Susan Despres and Carol Enos. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2:00PM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
