Obituary of Harold Edwin Parsons

PARSONS, HAROLD EDWIN, 71 Summerfield - Harold Edwin Parsons, 71, died at Tuscany House on December 21, 2010. He was born in Veazie, Maine on December 27, 1938 and was raised in Bangor, Maine. He was a retired truck driver from Lester Coggins Trucking after driving for 38 years. Mr. Parsons is survived by his wife of 48 years, Alma Parsons; children, Anna Bell, Terry Parsons and Edwin Parsons; brothers and sister, Bobby, David, Eddie, Phillip, Melvin and Billy; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a new one on the way. He was loved by all, a father to many, and a friend to all. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, December 24, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with Rev. Paul Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Crum Cemetery, Summerfield. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
