Obituary of Fannie Johnson

Fannie (Faison) Johnson, age 91, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. She was born in Trenton, FL on August 2, 1919. She was raised in Trenton and moved to Ocala in 1942. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and the oldest charter member of Woodland Place Church of Christ in Ocala. She loved quilting, her Lord, her family and her friends. She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Louie) Swoveland of Ocala; daughter Louise (Junior) Ammons of Ocala; step daughter Doris Woodham of Tampa, FL; step daughter Barbara (Larry) Langford of Bell, FL; sister Bernice Yarbrough of Alachua, FL; 6 grandchildren Jack (Cheryl) Swoveland, Gail (Bill) Downes, Cindy (Scott) Foster, Loraine (Mark) Stoklosa, Travis Ammons, Dewayne (Kim) Ammons; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by husbands Jack Faison, Orland Lee and Charlie Johnson and 1 grandson Larry Swoveland. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Trenton Cemetery in Trenton, FL.
