Obituary of Mary Frances Shepherd

Mary Frances Dibble Shepherd Went to heaven on December 23, 2010 from The Villages, FL, after a brief illness. She left behind her husband, Warren of Ocklawaha, FL; sons, David of Olive Branch, MS, and Louis of Jackson, MI; niece, Lynda Rodriguez; nephews, Norman and Dale Dempsey. Frances was born August 24, 1944 in Danbury, CT. While still in Connecticut, she worked for Mosler Safes in Danbury. As a teenager she enjoyed horseback riding at her grandfather's farm. She moved to Florida in 1973. Frances enjoyed volunteering at Stanton Weirsdale Elementary School in Marion County. Some of her hobbies were canvas work, crafting, camping, crossword puzzles, and reading. Frances was a member of Spirit Life Church, Ocala, FL. She was shy by nature, but her sweet smile and magnetic personality drew people to her. She will be missed by her loved ones, church family, and many other friends and neighbors. Funeral service Tuesday, January 4, 2011 10AM at HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES 352-245-2424. Committal service at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL Tuesday 2PM.
