Obituary of Eva Pauline Arledge

THE VILLAGES — Pauline Arledge, 84, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010. Mrs. Arledge was born in Ranger, Texas, and moved to The Villages from El Dorado, Ark., in 2001. She was a retired office manager with Electric Service Co.; a charter member of Crossroads Community Church, Lady Lake; a charter member of El Dorado Golf Association and Pine Hills Golf Association, both in Arkansas; and her hobbies were golf, bridge and crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband, Mahlen P.; son, David, Naples; daughters Angela Taylor, Punta Gorda, Tania Levi, Bush, La.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, with inurnment following at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Community Church Building Fund, 275 Griffinview Dr., Lady Lake 32159, or the charity of your choice. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
