Obituary of Maxton Emile Souce

Maxton Souce was born in Calcutta, India on September 3, 1933. He is survived by his wife Florine Souce, and his sisters Daphane, Moureen, Patsy and brother Frank. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family is spread throughout the U.S, Canada, India and several other countries. Max started his journey in life by taking an apprenticeship in Garden Reach Workshop. In 1952 he became 4th Engineer on a ship, and settled in England where he joined the Merchant Navy. This is where his love for car racing started. He would repair cars for drivers, that later some would become well known drivers. Maxton loved this sport and this continued throughout his life. Maxton came to United States in 1962 and settled in Indiana where he continued with cars and maintenance work. He raised his family in the United States and help to make them the people they are today. He always found a way to help anyone that was in need and show that someone cares. He loved to be with all his family and friends to listen to country music and dance and just to be around the ones that he loved in life. This day should be a celebration of Maxton's life he would want everyone to think of the happy times, root for his driver number 24 and dance. He will always be with everyone in their hearts so really will never be gone. A memorial service for Maxton Souce, who passed away on December 29, 2010, will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 2pm.
