Obituary of Linda Hartman

Linda Kay Hartman moved into a world without pain on December 30, 2010. She was born August 19, 1947 to Mildred (Hartley) and Curtis Risner in Fostoria Ohio. Linda was a strong, feisty, independent and loving person filled with passion. She loved her family and friends and especially her "bunny" John Franklin. Linda was an expert at crochet, creating the warmest blankets with loving care. Her baking and cooking were her signature gifts to all. As a Consulting Rosarian (American Rose Society) Linda shared her knowledge and expertise reflected in the beauty of her roses. As an employee of Hospice of Marion County Florida she enjoyed her coworkers that she called family. Surviving Linda are long time partner John S. Franklin, FL, father Curtis Risner, OH sons Noel Young (Monica) CA, Wade Young, OH grandsons Nico Young, CA and Christian Young, Norway. She is also survived by siblings Steven Risner, FL and Vicky Risner of OH. She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred (Hartley) Heischman. Although the star which was Linda has burned out and left a void in our cosmos, the light she gave will continue to burn bright in the lives and hearts of all of those she touched.
