Obituary of Delores Marguritte Dease
Delores M. Dease, 85 of Chiefland, passed away at her home with her family by her side. Born in Quitman GA to Wesley and Leola Boone, she has spent most of her life in the Chiefland area. Delores was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She spent over 20 years as a school bus driver in Levy County and was honored as 'Bus Driver of the Year'. She also worked as a Manager for Dollar General for 11 years. Her hobbies include sewing, fabric painting and going to auctions.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Hill ( Wayne) of Cedar Key, Toni Anzanetta Hill (Charlie)of Williston, Shirley King( David) of Chiefland and her son, Perry Tony Dease, Jr.(Patty) of Chiefland, brother Wayne Tillis of Gainesville, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Wed. Jan 12. 2011 at 3:30 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Pastor Billy Philman officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
