Obituary of James G. Annos

JAMES G. ANNOS 1932-2011 THE VILLAGES, FLORIDA - James ("Jim") G. Annos, 78, retired Warren, Ohio, attorney, passed away at 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011, after a lengthy illness at Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, Fl. Jim was born April 11, 1932, in Warren. He was a title lawyer in Warren his entire career before retiring to The Villages, Florida, in 1997. Jim served as secretary to the Trumbull County (Ohio) Bar Association for 25 years, was active with the March of Dimes for 49 years in both Warren and The Villages, and served on the board of directors at the Warren YMCA. An avid golfer, he also chaired The Villages Golf Handicap Committee for 10 years. Jim was also a past president of the Ohio Buckeye Club in The Villages and The Villages Three C's of Ohio Club. Jim is survived by his wife Mary Jane (Nicholas) whom he married June 16, 1956, two sons, Atty. George Annos of Mineral Ridge, Oh., David Annos of Minneapolis, MN., and one daughter, Paula Bradley of Chuluota, Fl., and two grandchildren. A memorial service for Atty. Annos is scheduled for Saturday January 22, 2011 at 3 pm with a gathering one hour before at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home in The Villages.
