Smith, Emerson Ralph 96 Ocala - Emerson Ralph Smith went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2011 in Ocala, Florida. Emerson was born in Citra, Florida on November 28, 1914. He was a licensed minister of the Pentecostal faith, loved fishing and hunting, and loved his wife and all his family most of all. He is survived by daughters Barbara Cummings of Candler, FL, Becklet Baines and husband Jimmy and Charlotte Dias of Ocala, FL, sons Charles Smith and wife Abbie of Anthony, FL, Emory Smith and wife Phyllis of Ocala, FL, Virgil Smith and wife Diane of Anthony, FL, Ricky Smith and wife Mary of Ocala, FL, Michael Smith and wife Jeanette of Micanopy, FL. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Amy Smith, and 2 sons, Doyle and Gerald Smith. Services will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Chapel, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2pm. Visitation will be at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 6-8 pm.
