Obituary of Joseph Lawrence Bonura
Joseph L. Bonura, Dispatcher for the Marion County Sheriff's Office, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, at ORMC after a brief illness. Joe was a graduate of Vanguard High School, class of 2001 and completed CFCC Criminal Justice Police Academy in October 2010. Joey is survived by his parents, Linda and Joe Bonura, sister, Rachel Bonura, Ocala and his brother, Michael Bonura, Keyport, NJ. He is also survived by his Grandmother, Frances Corban, Ocala, Uncles Lawrence D Cullen of NC, Raymond Howarth of NV and Charles Bonura of FL and Aunts Elaine Perry, NJ. and Marianne Strubel, OR. Joe is predeceased by his Grandfathers, Lawrence D Cullen, Sr, Albert Bonura and John Corban, his Grandmother, Anna Bonura and Uncle George Howarth. Joey was loved by too many to list by name, but his memory will live on with those he loved best including the greatest group of friends a guy could ever have. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, 4047 NE 21st St., Ocala, under the direction of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E.
