Obituary of John Raymond Salesses

John R. Salesses Born February 22, 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island; died January 19, 2011 in Ocala, Florida. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Lion's Club. He served our country in the US Army during WW II. He was a high school history teacher for 35 years at Warwick Veterans High School, Warwick, Rhode Island. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years Simone of Ocala, Florida; son, Jack of Alaska; step-daughters, Kristen Wiese of Coventry, Connecticut, and Kelly Cahalan of Putnam, Connecticut; two grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew. Preceded in death by sister, Frances Young. Visitation Thursday 4PM - 7PM at HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES 352-873-4114. Funeral mass Friday, January 28, 2011 8:30 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
