Obituary of Margaret E. Karl

Margaret E. "Marge" Karl, age 79, of Oxford, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. She was born in Elyria, OH on May 29, 1931. Marge met and married Rodger Karl and together they raised three children. They moved to Florida in 1968. Marge was a Homemaker and Bookkeeper. Her hobbies included crafts and sewing. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Summerfield, FL. She was known for always remembering friend's birthdays and anniversies by making sure they received a card. Marge is survived by her husband of 60 years Rodger E. Karl also of Oxford, FL; son David Karl of Oxford, FL; brother Bob Rice of Bradenton, FL; and brother Art Rice of Florida. She was preceded in death by a son Phillip Karl. A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Summerfield, FL on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11am. A visitation will also be held at the church on the day of the service from 10am until the time of the service at 11am. Interment will follow at Memorial Park in St. Petersburg, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Education Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Summerfield. Arrangements are being handled by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview, FL.
