Eve had many titles in her life but to us she was a wonderful cousin, neighbor, babysitter, and friend. Her magnetic personality put all around her at ease. Eve blessed us all with her gift of laughter that was contagious even in the face of adversity.
A family tradition was started in 1955 when Eve was the flower girl for Steve and Nancy's wedding. In 1967 when Richard and Eve married Steve and Nancy's daughter, Denise, was their flower girl.
Then in 1982 Eve and Richard's daughter, Lisa, was the flower girl for Denise and Derek's wedding. Family traditions were important to Eve.
The love of God, family, and friends were prevalent in Eve's everyday life. She was a gracious woman and left us her legacy. We will carry Eve's legacy of love of life and the gift of laughter in our hearts to share with all now and in the future.

My beautiful sister. Will miss her contagious joy and laughter, positive attitude, great advice and down to earth outlook on life. She brought joy to others, even began conversation and laughter in the chemo room each time she was there. Marty and I have such wonderful memories of Eve and the Sanchez family!!! Eve was gracious enough to share some recipes with me and I still feed our family her burrito squares. In fact, every time I use the recipe I send up a prayer for her and the famly.
Marty and I will hold you all in our prayers. Prayers of rejoicing for the life of Even and prayers and sorrow that our sister is no longer with us here on earth.

Eve's love and warmth were especially welcoming to me in 1978-79 when I was a widow just coming into the Catholic Charismatic Renewal at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She and Rich invited me to their home, and they included my two sons, then 10 and 11. They took us to a weekend retreat and helped me through some difficult times. Later we spent many years together in the Community of God's Mercy in Dearborn. If her smile was her trademark, her hugs and prayers were enough to keep us all going. My husband Marvin and I will be keeping Eve and all of you in our prayers.

Eve was an amazing beautiful kind and caring person just to name a few qualities. What an amazing legacy of love she is leaving behind. I am blessed and honored to have had Eve as a cousin. Even though over the years I hadn't seen her and Richard very much they were always in my thoughts and prayers as well as the family. My most recent memories of Eve were when she and Dick attended our wedding in Aug 2006 in Michigan. I am forever grateful that they could come. Eve has been one of the invisible angels on earth to CHRP 42 from St Ann's. She raised a beautiful daughter that has shared her faith and inspirations with this group and has also spread her gifts of song and joy to many other parishioners here in Texas.
